The Silverado Homebrew Club will be participating in the
Beer & BBQ @ Bowes event on October 8, 2011
Silverado will be conducting two brewing seminars during the event:
If you are new to home-brewing, Bob Keck from Silverado will be demonstrating how to brew your first beer. If you have ever wondered how to make beer at home this is where you can begin.
If you have already brewed a few batches and would like to see the next step, David Star from Silverado will be brewing an all-grain batch and answering any brewing question you may have.
Join us on Saturday, October 8, for the first annual Beer & BBQ @ Bowes event; a fundraiser for the Elgin Youth Scholarship Fund. Bowes Creek Country Club will provide a beautiful backdrop for this fun-filled family event, which will feature beer tasting, rib and BBQ tasting, live music, fun games and activities. The event will start at 3:00 pm and last until 7:00 pm and your family is invited to participate. Tickets purchased in advance are $25 for adults (21 and older) and $5 for youth ages 5 - 20). Children under 5 are free. The day of the event they will be increased to $30 and $10. Buy your ticket now and plan to join us for this exciting event!
